Operating VNC using VirtualAmp

To operate the VNC section of the project:

Play a music track using the Generator in IVP file provided

Play the noise track provided using the CabinNoise provided

Music (entertainment) inputs will be fed to inputs 1-2, whereas noise (normally fed from a microphone in a real-world application) will be fed to input 3. Announcement signals (not simulated in this project) are fed to input 4.

Stream the variables shown in the list below:

Open the Main custom panel

Set the Speed, HU Volume, GAL (intensity), Announcement, and Fan Speed controls to non-zero values

Observe that the VNC BASS, VNC TREBLE and VNC GAIN LED’s in the Monitoring section of the Main panel will respond based on the conditions (control values, signal, noise). In general, it follows these (and other) principles:

If HU volume is higher, tone gain will be lower

If cabin noise, GAL (intensity), fan speed and/or vehicle speed is higher, tone gain will be higher

Tone regulation can be fined-tuned using the VNC tuning custom panel, which can be launched with a button on the right side of the Main panel
