The ITUDownmix object performs a down-mix of six input channels ( 5.1 surround sound format) to two output channels (stereo sound format). The stereo signal is calculated according to the ITU-R BS.775 recommendation. This object operates only in one mode.
The ITUDownmix object does not support tuning, as it has the following hardcoded parameters:
- Number of input audio channels – six (5.1 surround format – L,R,C,LFE,LS,RS)
- Number of output channels – two (stereo format – L,R)
- Number of control inputs – zero
- Number of control outputs – zero
