After preparing the hardware according to the previous section, setup and load the SD card into the SD card slot on the board and power on the board.
To setup the SD card:
- Prepare a bootable (active) partition on the SD Card.
- Open the Start menu, right-click on Computer and select Manage.
- In Computer Management, select Disk Management.
- Insert the card into a Reader slot.
- If the SD partition is not marked as Healthy (Active, Primary Partition), right-click on a partition and Mark Partition as active.
- Delete the existing files on the SD card.
- Download the binaries in the output folder in the Summit root folder onto the SD card. These binaries are in output/“project_name“/ sdcard_Spartan_J6_v2/“build profile“/.
- Remember to unmount the SD card file system before you eject, so it does not get corrupted.
