GTT Dynamic Signal Flow

The current release will support creating a signal flow from the GTT for multiple instances on the VirtualAmp, and the Summit amplifier. Refer to the User Guide GTT Signal Flow Designer for more details on this process. Below is the high-level view of the creation process.

Process

The user creates a single instance signal flow in GTT.

The user sends this signal flow to the target via xTP.

Reboot the target (power off/on or reboot the device in IVP).

The target will detect the updated signal flow and boot up using its configuration.

If the user sends new signal flow without changing the number of inputs and outputs, the target will detect the updated signal flow and boot up using its configuration. Else, reboot required.

If no signal flow data is available, the target will fall back to utilizing INI files.

Limitations

This implementation has the same limitations as the .ini implementation. Audio routing must be configured externally on the platform to support the supplied instance and core configuration.
