The Bass Management CAO comes with a custom panel that allows the user to tune the cut-off frequencies and gains of the bass content (outputs 3 and 4) and the sub-bass signal (output 5).

The left half of the panel has 3 tuning parameters: On/Off toggle, bass content cut-off frequency and the output gain. The right half of the panel has the same 3 tuning parameters but for the Sub-bass channel. The details of the tuning parameters are given in the next section.
Custom Panel Parameters Details
The Bass Management CAO consists of 6 parameters that can be varied through the custom panel described above.
| No. | Parameter | Description | Range | Default value |
| 1 | Bass On/Off | Toggle switch for turning on or off the bass outputs | – | On |
| 2 | Crossover Bass (Hz) | The crossover frequency of the full range speaker channels | 80 – 150 | 150 |
| 3 | Gain Bass (dB) | The gain with which the bass content is mixed | -20 – 10 | 3 |
| 4 | Sub-bass On/Off | Toggle switch for turning on or off the sub-bass output | – | On |
| 5 | Crossover Sub-bass (Hz) | The crossover frequency of the Sub-bass channel | 40 – 80 | 80 |
| 6 | Gain Sub-bass (dB) | The gain of the Sub-bass channel | -20 – 10 | 1.5 |
When both the Bass and the Sub-bass are turned on, the non-bass channels (outputs 1 and 2) will be high pass filtered at the bass cut-off frequency, the bass channels (outputs 3 and 4) will be low-pass filtered at the bass cut-off frequency and high-pass filtered at the sub-bass cut-off frequency, and the Sub-bass channel (output 5) will be low-pass filtered at the sub-bass cut-off frequency.
When the Bass is turned on and the Sub-bass is turned off, the bass channels (outputs 3 and 4) will contain all frequencies until the bass cut-off frequency, and the sub-bass output will be muted.
When the Bass is turned off and the Sub-bass is turned on, the non-bass channels will contain frequencies until the sub-bass cut-off frequency and the bass outputs will be muted.
When both the Bass and the Sub-bass are turned off, all the input signals pass through to outputs 1 and 2 respectively.
