MIPS window presents , CPU load of cores, instances and audio- objects of the connected device.
Mips profiling data is fetched from the device (hardware) using xTP Commands and user can optimize signal-flow based on this information.
Pre-requisite
- MIPS window is enabled only when device xAF dll version is 18.x.x.xxx or above
- Signalflow should be flashed before launching Mips
How to use ?
Select Device node
To launch Mips window – click on Ribbon Button MIPS in Profiling group

Summary Tab

- Presents virtual core and instance Mips data (Average Mips and Maximum Mips ), fetched from virtual device via xTP Command.
- Physical Core, Mips data displayed, are aggregated value of it’s virtual cores.
- For further analysis of audio-objects Mips, click on Instance name .

Instance Tabs

- New tab corresponding to selected instance, displaying audio-object Mips data , fetched via xTP Command , will be loaded
- For compound audio object , inner audio objects will be displayed with compound audio object name prefixed (eg: DelayGainCAO_1_0_1 : Gain_3_0_1)

Refresh Mips
Mips data corresponding to current tab will be refreshed on clicking Refresh Mips button
Export to csv
Mips data corresponding to current tab will be exported to csv file on clicking Export button.
