Memory window presents , CPU memory of cores, instances and audio- objects of the device in single multi-level grid.
Memory profiling data of cores and instances are fetched from the device (hardware) using xTP Commands and audio-object’s memory is fetched based on its memory latency configurations. Overhead Memory consumed by core and instance are calculated and displayed as ‘Framework Memory’. Users can optimize signal-flow or adjust latency based on this information.
Pre-requisite
- Memory window is enabled only when device xAF dll version is 18.x.x.xxx or above
- Signalflow should be flashed before launching Memory window
- When memory latency configuration is updated, signalflow should be re-flashed and Memory window should be re-launched.
How to use ?
Select Device node
To launch Memory window – click on Ribbon Button Memory in Profiling group

Multi-level collapsible grid with core, instance and audio-objects will be displayed on launch of Memory window.
-
- Physical core memory values displayed, are aggregated value of it’s virtual cores.
- Virtual core and instance memory are fetched from device using xTP Commands.
- Audio-objects memory is fetched based on memory latency configurations.
- Overhead Memory consumed by core and instance are calculated and displayed as ‘Framework Memory’.
