Framework Instances and other core objects can be copy pasted within the same core or within different cores.
A context menu is provided to copy and paste the core objects.
Select the core objects to be copied by holding the ctrl key and use the option “Copy Core Objects” from the context menu.
Right click on the core to paste the copied objects inside it. The connections between the core objects will be retained. Whereas the connection between the core and core objects will not be retained.
While copy pasting the core objects, the signal flow inside it will also be copy pasted.
Validation for copy paste:
- While pasting if the total objects count reach more than 255 inside the core, then the paste will be cancelled and a toast message will be shown.
- The copied objects can be pasted inside a different device which is associated with different xAF dll. A message box will be shown for confirmation to paste or to cancel the paste.
- In some cases where the data format between cores don’t match or if the core objects are not available for the device, then the list of objects that are not pasted will be displayed inside a message box.
