This Gain panel is used for changing the gain of a signal for each channel.
Changing the Gain Value
You can change the gain value in four ways:
- Moving the slider button.
- Using the mouse scroll button.
- Changing the dB value in the text box – value and visual representation will be updated after clicking enter or when text box will lose selection.
- Using the increase and decrease buttons
Maximum / Minimum Gain Value
Maximum and minimum gain values are default from the GTT in the SymbolDescriptor.
Threshold Values
- M.aximum and minimum threshold values are derived from the GTT in the ParameterStore.
- When either of the threshold values is reached, the Gain value bar will turn into red
Maximum threshold value: 6 dB
Minimum threshold value: -80 dB
In Phase / Invert
The buttons In Phase and Inverted invert the gain value.
Mute
- The Mute button sets the gain value to a minimum gain value.
- If the gain value is muted, you cannot change it.
- After clicking the Mute button again, the gain value will be set to the value it had before.
Mute all
- The Mute all button sets all gain values to minimum gain values.
- If all gains are muted, the Mute all button will change to Muted.
- After clicking the Muted button, all gains will be set to the values they had before.
