The length of the time slots and the fading characteristic can be configured during runtime. The output signal is the signal of one input channel at a time. If the last input channel is reached, the next input channel will be the first input channel again. Depending on the fading mode, there might be one block length of fading between 2 channels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">In the SFD, users can select the following object parameters at design time:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">number of input channels<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Tuning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"text\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">This object exposes four tuning parameters to the GTT:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<strong>Mode <\/strong>\u2013 The mode can be set to:<\/span>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Normal mode &#8211; performing multiplexing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Active channel mode &#8211; single channel passed to the output<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Off &#8211; no output<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Multiplex number of blocks <\/strong>\u2013 Only evaluated in \u201cNormal mode\u201d. It presents number of blocks (block length) after which to switch to next input.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Fading mode<\/strong> &#8211; Only evaluated in \u201cNormal mode\u201d. It sets a type of fading method:<\/span>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Cosine square fading<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Linear fading<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">No fading (hard switch)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Active channel<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If in mode \u201cActive channel mode\u201d &#8211; The channel number of the input channel that will be routed to the output channel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If in mode \u201cNormal mode\u201d &#8211; Set the selected channel as current input and continue with next channel in normal\/multiplex mode after configured number of blocks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Time Multiplexer combines multiple input audio signals into one audio signal by dividing the input channels into equal fixed-length time slots and mix them into a common output channel with fading between channels.
