The amount of attenuation depends on<br \/>\nthe filter design.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\"><strong>LPF (Low Pass Filter) mode<\/strong><br \/>\nA low-pass filter is a filter that passes signals with a frequency lower than a certain cutoff frequency and<br \/>\nattenuates signals at frequencies higher than the cutoff. The amount of attenuation depends on<br \/>\nthe filter design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"text\">In these modes, the block receives the filter specifications from the user for each filter in a channel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">In the GTT, the object exposes the following variables:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li>Frequency (in Hz), <span class=\"emph\">f<\/span>:\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Frequency: 20 Hz<\/li>\n<li>Maximum Frequency : 20 KHz<\/li>\n<li>Default Value: 1000Hz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Type of filter (Butterworth, Bessel etc.)\n<ul>\n<li>Bypass<\/li>\n<li>Butterworth Filter with 6dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Butterworth Filter with 12dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Butterworth Filter with 18dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Butterworth Filter with 24dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Butterworth Filter with 48dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Bessel Filter with 12dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Bessel Filter with 24dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Linkwitz\u2013Riley Filter with 12dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Linkwitz\u2013Riley Filter with 24dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Linkwitz\u2013Riley Filter with 48dB\/octave slope<\/li>\n<li>Neville Thiele Method Filter with 36dB\/octave<\/li>\n<li>Neville Thiele Method Filter with 52dB\/octave<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Bypass mode (if set, the block doesn\u2019t filter the incoming audio buffer):\n<ul>\n<li>0: Bypass OFF<\/li>\n<li>1: Bypass ON<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"text\">Num_Elements in GTT represents the maximum number HPF\/LPF blocks that each channel can have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This audio object computes bi-quadratic filter coefficients and calculates the output of the input audio buffers processed through the filters that users specify.
