Bass Enhancer CAO has stereo input and output.<\/p>\n

Bass enhancer CAO uses below audio objects:<\/p>\n

  1. Bass enhancer audio object<\/li>\n
  2. Parameter Biquad<\/li>\n
  3. Delay<\/li>\n
  4. Compressor<\/li>\n
  5. Matrix Mixer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Bass enhancer audio object:\u00a0<\/strong>Bass enhancer audio object produces three channel audio output with stereo input (Left and right channel).<\/p>\n

    The three output channels of bass enhancer AO are:<\/p>\n

    a) high pass filtered left channel<\/p>\n

    b) high pass filtered right channel<\/p>\n

    c) harmonic signal<\/p>\n

    Harmonics are generated for each frequency component below speaker cutoff frequency. These harmonics are added to the original high pass filtered left and right channel to reproduce the enhanced perceivable bass.<\/p>\n

    ParameterBiquad: <\/strong>Parameter\u00a0Biquad\u00a0\u00a0AO\u00a0is used to shape the harmonics generated for the bass.<\/p>\n

    Delay: <\/strong>Delay\u00a0AO\u00a0<\/span>is used to adjust the delay to compensate for phase delay.<\/p>\n

    Compressor: <\/strong>Compressor\u00a0AO\u00a0<\/span>is used to limit the dynamic range of the harmonics generated by Bass Enhancer\u00a0AO.<\/span> In addition \u201cMake-up\u201d gain parameter of the compressor is used to control output level of Harmonics.<\/p>\n

    It is not mandatory to use Compressor\u00a0AO.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Matrix Mixer: <\/strong>Matrix Mixer\u00a0AO\u00a0<\/span>is used to combine the harmonics with high pass filtered left and right channel to produce bass enhanced stereo output.<\/p>\n
