The aim of the Gate object is to mute the input signal level if the signal level falls below the threshold level. The main purpose for using this to eliminate background sounds.<\/p>\n

In GTT, Gate exposes the following parameters:<\/p>\n

Use Cases: This object can be deployed whenever an audio gate needs to be introduced in an audio pipeline.<\/em><\/p>\n

The number of channels is configurable in SFD.<\/p>\n

\u201cNumber of Elements\u201d defines the maximum size the look-ahead buffer in ms [milliseconds] and it is configurable currenty in GTT.<\/p>\n
