By doing this, frequencies that are shared between the two sources will be accentuated, while frequencies that are not shared will be attenuated.<\/p>\n<p>This phenomenon occurs when the input signal adopts the sonic characteristics of the impulse response, resulting in enhanced frequencies that are commonly present in both the impulse response and the input signal.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-22307\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/word-image-17.png\" width=\"720\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Steps to configure MIMO Convolver:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>IVP RTA<\/strong> tab and select <strong>Advanced<\/strong> from the ribbon bar. This opens the RTA Settings dialogue box.<\/li>\n<li>On the RTA Settings dialogue box, select the Plugins tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the folder icon to browse the xAF library path.<\/li>\n<li>Set port number under the Port box.<\/li>\n<li>Enable the <strong>Bypass<\/strong> option (optional), if you prefer the input to be passed directly to the next plugin or output without undergoing any processing.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Apply. <\/strong>The number of inputs, number of outputs, and plugin type will be automatically updated based on the provided signal flow.<\/li>\n<li>Switch to <strong>MIMO Convolver<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Set number of Inputs, Outputs, and Filter Taps.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29296\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/AdvanceConfiguration_007.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"982\" height=\"509\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can configure coefficients in 2 ways.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Configure coefficients in Panel.<\/li>\n<li>Configure coefficients through virtual prediction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Configure coefficients in Panel<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the <strong>MIMO Convolver<\/strong> tab, click on <strong>Configure Coefficients. <\/strong>The Configure Coefficients panel launches with 2*2 filters.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29085\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cofficentcurve_01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"983\" height=\"525\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Adjust the coefficients by either setting them to a flat value or importing them using CSV\/XML files.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Tune<\/strong>, after assigning coefficients.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"text\">A toast message \u201cTuning applied\u201d appear.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amplitude\/Phase:\u00a0<\/strong>When the coefficients are given and \u201cAmplitude\/Phase\u201d option is selected, the graph display the value.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-26228 \" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MimoConAmpli-e1718194591702.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"966\" height=\"494\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Coefficients:\u00a0 <\/strong>When the coefficients are given and the \u201cCoefficients&#8221; option is selected, the graph displays the values as per below figure. Click on the &#8220;Import&#8221; button, then enter the file path and click Ok.<br \/>\nAll coefficients for the selected filter will be imported, as shown in the graph. If the number of coefficients does not match the number of taps, a warning pop up will appear. Click &#8216;Yes&#8217; to import available coefficients or click &#8216;No&#8217; to cancel the import.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Export : <\/strong>This option is used to export coefficients for selected active filter into csv file.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Export All :<\/strong> This option is used to export all active filters in one go. Click on the &#8220;Export All&#8221; button, enter the path and file name, then click Ok. A xml file will be created which have coefficients for each active filter.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Import All:<\/strong> This option is used to import all coefficients in one go. Click on the &#8220;Import All&#8221; button, enter the XML file path and then click Ok. All the given coefficients will be imported and can be seen in the graph.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Read:\u00a0 <\/strong>This is used to read from the target to display in the panel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Tune:\u00a0 <\/strong>This is used to apply tune for given value.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Configure Coefficients through Virtual prediction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the <strong>MIMO Convolver<\/strong> tab, click on <strong>Measurement Coefficients. <\/strong>The Virtual Tuning window appears.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22310 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/graphical-user-interface-text-description-automa-1-e1718628816594.png\" alt=\"Graphical user interface, text Description automatically generated\" width=\"736\" height=\"498\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Apply<\/strong> after selecting Measurement session from drop-down list.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-26231 \" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MIMO_COV_02-e1718628844824.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"952\" height=\"487\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Routing [in]<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Set the inputs for &#8220;Plugin Host&#8221; (such as Generator1 and Generator2). These inputs will determine the channels from the Plugin Host that will be used.<\/li>\n<li>Set the inputs for \u201cMimo Convolver\u201d in order to route the PluginHost output channels to the sound card outputs.<br \/>\nExample 1: PluginHost1 and PluginHost2, if output of Plugin Host is fed to MIMO Convolver.<br \/>\nExample 2: Generator1 and Generator2, if generator is fed to MIMO Convolver.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29298\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/AdvanceConfiguration_008.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"973\" height=\"414\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Analyzer<\/strong> tab and select Plugin Host (MIMO convolver) output as the channel source.<\/li>\n<li>Set the Channel source (such as Generator1, PluginHost1, and MimoConvolver1) to display in chart.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-23184 \" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MIMO-Convolver_01-e1718628875289.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1135\" height=\"614\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Once the settings have been updated, click <strong>Done<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Connect to device through Plugin Host.
