The controls for traces are located on the right side of the spectrum graph.<\/p>\n<p>A trace in RTA is a captured measurement curve.<\/p>\n<p>There are six different kinds of traces:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Spectrum:<\/strong> Complete data set from measurement without phase.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase:<\/strong> Complete data set from measurement with phase data.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Txt:<\/strong> Data imported from a text file (tab separated frequency \u2013 spectrum value pairs per line)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ovl:<\/strong> Data imported from an Overlay file format.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eq:<\/strong> Target curve, a spectrum curve described by biquad filter parameters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Peak Hold:<\/strong> Peak hold trace with three-time constants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"note\">Traces view is available only in Frequency Domain analyzer modes like Spectrum, Phase i.e. it is not available in Time Domain.<\/p>\n<p>The trace menu is comprised of a <strong>trace toolbar<\/strong> and a <strong>trace list<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each entry in the trace list includes a button for re-capturing, a checkbox for selection, and a trace label. The selection checkbox is used to designate the trace for mathematical operations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29386\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Traces_01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"436\" height=\"410\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Double-click on the trace label opens the trace property dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>In this dialog, you can set the name, offset, and color for each trace. You can view all SPL (ABC) values simultaneously, which will aid in final documentation purposes.
