Harman and third-party technologies are available for drag-and-drop audio flow construction using a library of standard audio building blocks.<\/p>\n<p>This audio processing can be simulated on a PC or target hardware while computing and memory measurements for each block are collected.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the below steps to create a signal flow design:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Double click on <strong>xAF <\/strong>instance in Device View to open Signal Flow designer.<br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28341\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/CreateSignalFlow_01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1224\" height=\"496\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Go to the Toolbox section, expand <strong>Interface<\/strong>, and drag <strong>AudioIO<\/strong> audio object to the Signal Flow view. Similarly add another AudioIO audio object to the Signal Flow view.\n<p class=\"note text\">When adding an xAF instance to a discovered device, this AudioIO can be added. Thus, this step is only necessary if these two AudioIO objects are absent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select one of the AudioIO audio object and set the <strong>Object Mode <\/strong>parameter to <strong>Audio In<\/strong>. Similarly, select another AudioIO audio object and set the <strong>Object Mode <\/strong>parameter to <strong>Audio Out<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Expand <strong>Basic<\/strong> and drag <strong>Gain<\/strong> audio object to the Signal Flow view. You can use any of the audio object, for example Gain audio object is used.\n<p class=\"note text\">Try to keep Gain audio object in between two AudioIO audio object or else you cannot connect the input or output pin with Gain audio object.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-29954\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Gainnew_01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"551\" height=\"226\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now, you can modify the audio object properties as per requirement.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-29953\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Gainnew_02.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"871\" height=\"352\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Select the Gain audio object and set <strong># of channels <\/strong>parameter to 2. The number of channels determines how many connectors the AO will be allotted. You can assign as many channels as you want to your device in GTT.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the CTRL key, select all the audio object from the Signal Flow view, and click <strong>Connect Blocks<\/strong> to connect all the audio object.Or you can drag a connection from output pin of an AO and drop to input pin of another AO<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-29955\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Gainnew_03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"874\" height=\"426\" \/><br \/>\nNow you have an input and output object, as well as an object to tune gain, invert, and mute parameters for each channel of signal flow designer.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save the signal flow design and click <strong>Go Back<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Launch <strong>IVP<\/strong> and click on <strong>Send Signal Flow<\/strong> in device view.<br \/>\nA message \u201cSignal flow successfully submitted<em>\u201d <\/em>will be displayed<em>. <\/em>The Signal Flow sent to the virtual amplifier.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Messages While Saving Signal Flow Design<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If there is a version mismatch between the current audio library version and the version data on the device, a warning message appears asking whether to continue or stop saving.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20844\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/a-screenshot-of-a-computer-description-automatica-47.png\" alt=\"A screenshot of a computer Description automatically generated with medium confidence\" width=\"429\" height=\"141\" \/><\/li>\n<li>If there is a tuning version mismatch between audio objects in the signal flow and audio objects in the toolbox, a warning message will be displayed, showing the tuning version differences, and those audio objects are highlighted in blue.
