{"id":20013,"date":"2023-03-25T13:19:38","date_gmt":"2023-03-25T12:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demdlx704as001.ad.harman.com\/?p=20013"},"modified":"2024-05-20T16:39:10","modified_gmt":"2024-05-20T14:39:10","slug":"import-and-export","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/?p=20013","title":{"rendered":"Import and Export"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28147\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Device_Designer-_Ribbon_06.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"161\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Import<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28148\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Device_Designer-_Ribbon_07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"160\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuning Data:<\/strong> Use this option to import an existing tuning file (<em>*.set<\/em> or <em>*.setr<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Users can use the following hints to see if the &#8220;imported tuning file&#8221; has made any changes to the device:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check the State Variable Explorer to see if the values of the corresponding state variables have changed.<\/li>\n<li>If the device and GTT are in sync, sending tuning data should cause the frequency response to change.<\/li>\n<li>The user can manually create a set column to obtain the current state of the state variables after importing the tuning data file on the device.<\/li>\n<li>The user can use the set column that is already present after importing the tuning data file on the device and pressing the &#8220;store&#8221; button. If the set column in the set file contains state variables, the user can view the modifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Export<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28149\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Device_Designer-_Ribbon_08.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\" height=\"255\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuning Data:<\/strong> Use this option to export a tuning file (<em>*.set<\/em> or <em>*.setr<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"note\">This method creates a .set file which contains all the object tuning data, that includes all of the device&#8217;s state variables. For example, if certain objects are not tuned, their default tuning values will be exported to the set file.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Export DDF Data: <\/strong>Use this option to export a device description data file (<em>*.ddf<\/em> ).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Export Control Pin Data: <\/strong>Use this option to export Control Pin Data (<em>*.csv<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"note\">If no configured control pin data is available its shows the message \u201cControl pin not configured for device\u201d.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Device Template: <\/strong>Use this option to save device template file\u00a0 (<em>*.flash<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%; height: 433px;\" border=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr style=\"background-color: #e0dede;\">\n<td style=\"width: 100%; height: 433px;\">\n<p class=\"text\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Important<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Device File option is hidden by default.<\/p>\n<p>Steps to make Device File option visible under in Import\/Export option:<\/p>\n<p>1. Go to GTT installation path and locate <strong><em>GlobalTuningTool.exe.Config<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>file.<\/p>\n<p>Location:<em> C:\\Program Files\\Harman\\HarmanAudioworX\\tools\\GTT\\<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2. Open the file in any text editor (notepad) and update \u201c<strong><em>AudioObjectDeveloperMode\u201d <\/em><\/strong>attribute under \u201c<strong><em>appSettings<\/em><\/strong>\u201d node as shown below.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23720\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Appsettings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"557\" height=\"73\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. Set <strong>Value = true<\/strong> to enable Device File option.
