These are used to calculate current consumption and in turn estimate power.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16911\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/PoweManagerPanel_AdmittanceFilter.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"252\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Coefficients cannot be edited.<\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Tuning Parameters<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\">Voltage limiting parameters<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16914\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/PoweManagerPanel_VoltageLimiter.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"217\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Voltage Threshold Linear Scale:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The reference threshold from which the contour filters bias the incoming signal.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Voltage Attack Rate:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The rate at which the peak-limiter reduces gain when the contoured threshold has been crossed.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Voltage Release Rate:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The rate at which the peak-limiter goes back to unity gain when the contoured threshold is not being crossed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Voltage-Peak Time-Constant:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The tau-constant for the first-order averaging filter used in envelope detection. The envelope level will decay at this rate when the signal-peak is at a lower level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\">Power limiting parameters<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16913\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/PoweManagerPanel_PowerLimiting.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>S<strong><em>hort-term Power Threshold<\/em><\/strong>: The power threshold over which the short-term power limiter will start reducing gain.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Short-term Average Time:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Averaging time-window for the short-term power limiter.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Long-term Power Threshold:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The power threshold over which the long-term power limiter will start reducing gain.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Long-term Average Time:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Averaging time-window for the long-term power limiter.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Power Attack Rate:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The rate at which any of the power limiters will reduce gain when the threshold is crossed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Power Release Rate:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The rate at which any of the power limiters will go back to unity gain when the threshold is not being crossed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Power Depth:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The maximum attenuation allowed for the power limiters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Changing the parameter value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>User can change the value in four ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moving the slider button.<\/li>\n<li>Using the mouse scroll button.<\/li>\n<li>Changing the value in the text box \u2013 value and visual representation will be updated after clicking enter or when text box will lose selection.<\/li>\n<li>Increase\/decrease delay by calculated step value using increase and decrease buttons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"heading\"><strong>Maximum\/Minimum parameter value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maximum and minimum parameter values are derived from the GTT in the Symbol Descriptor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This panel is used to display voltage contour, admittance filter coefficients loaded in device.
