Follow the below steps to upgrade AudioworX.<\/p>\n

  1. Right-click the AudioworX setup file and choose Run as administrator<\/strong>.\n

    The AudioworX setup file must be run as administrator. Certain Global Tuning Tool features may not work properly if you run the AudioworX prerequisites setup file normally.<\/p>\n

    If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?<\/strong> select Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

  2. Click Yes<\/strong> to confirm the Harman AudioworX setup upgrade request.

  3. On the AudioworX welcome screen, click Next<\/strong>.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. On the License Agreement screen read the license agreement carefully, accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next<\/strong>.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  5. On the destination screen, click Next<\/strong> if you accept the default destination folder location.
    \nThe default location is C:\\Program Files\\Harman\\Harman AudioworX<\/em>.OrIf desired, click Change<\/strong> to navigate to a different folder.

  6. On the database options screen, select any of the option Use exiting databse<\/strong> or Create a new database, <\/strong>and Next<\/strong>.\n

    If you select Create a new database<\/strong> option, then you need to configure the database server.<\/p>\n

    If you select Use existing database<\/strong> option, then the setup will continue with existing database configuration.<\/p>\n

  7. On server screen, connect to the server using one of the following options. (Only applicable if you select Create a new database<\/strong>).\n

    By default, the wizard will connect to your local server.<\/p>\n

    Select the Windows Authentication<\/strong> option and click Next<\/strong>.
    \nIn this authentication mode, the wizard will automatically connect to your local server using your windows authentication.

    Or
    \nSelect the Server Authentication <\/strong>option, enter the Login ID<\/strong> and Password, <\/strong>and click Next<\/strong>.
    \nUse server authentication mode only if the server is available on the computer. Make sure you have server credentials details with you.

  8. Click Install<\/strong> to start the installation.

  9. Click Finish <\/strong>to complete the upgrade.
