Acquiring a License<\/p>\n

In GTT you will only have access to licensed features. If you try to use a feature for which you did not acquire a license the message Feature is not licensed<\/strong> <\/em>will be displayed and you will not be able to use the feature. Both internal and external customers can acquire licenses as follows:<\/p>\n

Contact Harman with your MAC id and request for the respective license.<\/p>\n

10 days prior to expiration of a license, GTT will send a notification as shown below. From then on, the message will appear every time you are using a feature covered by the license.<\/p>\n

When\u00a0 license is added initially, if the Mac address present in the license file and system Mac address are different, then you will get the following message- “The license is not configured to be used in this system”<\/strong> and wrong license file is silently removed in the background<\/p>\n

Add the acquired license into the GTT<\/p>\n

You can always add licenses as described in the following. But you need to have a valid license<\/em><\/span> upon launch of GTT > Add License<\/em><\/span> dialog will open when starting GTT to submit a license.<\/p>\n

Start the GTT application.<\/p>\n

Click File<\/em> <\/span>> Add License<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Add License dialog will be displayed. Here you can browse acquired licenses.<\/p>\n

Browse and select license file (*.lic) provided by Harman International Corp. and click Submit<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Now you are ready to use licensed features from GTT.<\/p>\n

If the feature does not work although you have acquired a license for it, the License Manager launch might be delayed. Follow the steps in chapter Launch Harman License Manager<\/span> right below, in order to fix the issue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
