To add a device to GTT, you have two options: You can import your own device (A) or create a device in GTT (B).
\nImport your own device.
\n1. Select File and click on Import Device.<\/p>\n
Select your device from your personal directory.<\/p>\n
\uf0d8 The dialog below will be displayed.<\/p>\n
In the dialog above you can decide upon the synchronization of tuning data between GTT and the
\nimported\/created device. If you click Cancel there will be no synchronization.<\/p>\n
If you want to synchronize with the tuning data of GTT:
\nClick No.
\nIf you want to synchronize with the tuning data of the imported\/created device:
\nClick Yes.
\nCreate a device.
\n1. Click on Create Device.
\n\uf0b7 The Add Device Dialog will be displayed with the following parameters:
\n\uf0b7 Platform \u2013 the physical platform on which the device will run (drop-down available)
\n\uf0b7 Device ID
\n\uf0b7 Device Name
\n\uf0b7 Brand \u2013 derived from Device Name, required for legacy AA infrastructure
\n\uf0b7 Family – required for legacy AA infrastructure
\n\uf0b7 Number of Channels \u2013 number of channels supported by the device
\n\uf0b7 Max Tuning Data Size – Maximum count of bytes included in a single tuning data message<\/p>\n
Under Platform select the platform you created in the steps before.
\nFill out the other fields according to your needs.
\nConfirm with OK.
\n\uf0d8 The device you created will appear in the Devices section.<\/p>\n
Your actual device is stored in one of the folders in the list. The folder is labeled with the Brand name you chose
\nin the Add Device dialog.<\/p>\n
Double-click the respective folder.<\/p>\n
\uf0d8 Your device will be displayed.<\/p>\n
Drag and drop your test device into the Room 1 section.
\n\uf0d8 The dialog below will be displayed.<\/p>\n
