The latency of the memory requested in AWX is abstract and is only relative; Level1 &#8211; Fastest memory available in platform and Level5 &#8211; slowest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Memory Latency feature provides a way to configure latency level for individual audio object memory record from GTT.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">During design time, GTT retrieves Memory record for audio object from audio library in following cases:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-points\">\n<li>Adding Audio Object<\/li>\n<li>Modifying AudioObject i.e changing number of inputs, outputs, number of elements, selected mode<\/li>\n<li>Modifying Additional parameter value<\/li>\n<li>Upgrading AudioObject<\/li>\n<li>Import of project which defaults to a different dll other than the created one<\/li>\n<li>Upgrading device framework to version 17 dll or above.<\/li>\n<li>Changing target type (i.e core type) of Core<\/li>\n<li>Changing Sample Rate or Block Length of instance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">GTT supports Memory Latency feature if XAF dll version is 17.x.x.xxx or above.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Use:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Memory Records will have default latency selected by Audio Object developer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">GTT provides option to set the latency for every memory record of the audio object in Memory Latency Editor<\/p>\n<p class=\"action-group\"><b>Editing Memory Latency<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"actions\">Select Device node<\/p>\n<p class=\"actions\">Click on Ribbon Button Mem Latency Editor<\/p>\n<p class=\"result\">Mem Latency Editor is launched<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12998\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/SelectNode.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"592\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13001\" src=\"https:\/\/audioworx.transfunnel.co\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Mem-Latency-Editor.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1381\" height=\"755\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Save Button is disabled till there is a change detected in latency<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Only Latency can be selected other attributes of memory record are read-only<\/p>\n<p class=\"actions\">Click on Save will persist Latency for the memory record<\/p>\n<p class=\"action-group\">Send Memory Records to Device<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Send Signal Flow will take care of sending Memory records with selected latency to Device. Once the signal flow send is successful, Device will boot up with specified memory latency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"action-group\">Import Export of Project having Memory Record<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Memory Latency is kept intact if the export and import happens on same xaf dll by version<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">If the dll version is different Import will get fresh memory record based on new target xaf dll version<\/p>\n<p class=\"action-group\">Copy Paste of Audio Object or Core Object Containing Memory Latency<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">If the source and targets are same by properties then Memory latency is retained in the pasted object<\/p>\n<p class=\"heading\">CSV Import\/Export<\/p>\n<p>The memory latency allows to export and import memory map to CSV file.
