Overview<\/p>\n

Convolution is the process of multiplying the frequency spectra of our two audio sources\u2014the input signal and the impulse response. By doing this, frequencies that are shared between the two sources will be accentuated, while frequencies that are not shared will be attenuated. This is what causes the input signal to take on the sonic qualities of the impulse response, as characteristic frequencies from the impulse response common in the input signal are boosted.<\/p>\n

Configure Mimo convolver with Plugins<\/p>\n

Open RTA<\/em>-> Settings<\/em>-> Plugins<\/em><\/p>\n

Click Browse\u00a0<\/em>to select the xAF library<\/p>\n

Set Port number in the port number textbox<\/p>\n

If Bypass <\/em>is selected, then input is fed to output without processing<\/p>\n

On click of Apply, <\/em>updated no. of inputs, no. of outputs and plugin type appears<\/p>\n

Switch to MIMO Convolver <\/em>tab<\/p>\n

Set No. of Inputs\/ Outputs<\/em><\/p>\n

Set F<\/em>ilter taps<\/em><\/p>\n

User can configure coefficients in 2 ways<\/p>\n
